Between the film and the musical, there’s just so much to praise about Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame adaptations, based on the novel by Victor Hugo. Not only are the music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz phenomenal, but the story itself, a little darker as it may be, is one of substance and thought-provoking, too. A very high recommend from us!
