Many books have messages, especially if you read critically and between the lines. Some preach, which is less subtle. And then there are those which try to “break barriers” and “normalize” a new behavior. Is this good? It could be. What about Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao? Well, it reduced our pearl clutching scales to smithereens.
